The seven most important things when booking an airport transfer are: a fixed, per-vehicle price, the flight tracking and waiting policy, the company's TÜRSAB licence, vehicle and luggage capacity, child seats, cancellation terms and the meeting point. Confirming these seven points in writing before you book is the easiest way to avoid surprises on landing.

1. Is the Price Fixed and Per Vehicle?

Ask whether the quoted price is fixed and whether it is per person or per vehicle. Some companies may ask for extra on arrival for traffic, night hours or luggage.

At Egem VIP Transfer the price is fixed at booking and is per vehicle; it does not change with the number of passengers and there are no surprise charges on arrival. You can see route prices on our prices page.

2. What Is the Flight Tracking and Waiting Policy?

Find out whether the driver will wait if your flight is delayed and whether there is a charge for it. Adding your flight number to the booking lets the company track the landing.

Egem VIP Transfer tracks flights in real time; in a delay the driver arrives for the new landing time and there is no extra charge for waiting.

3. Is the Company TÜRSAB-Licensed and Insured?

Companies providing tourist transport in Turkey must hold a TÜRSAB licence; look for the licence number on the company's website and check it on TÜRSAB's agency search page. Also ask whether vehicles and passengers are insured.

Egem VIP Transfer is a TÜRSAB-licensed and insured company; the licence number is shown in the site footer.

4. Is the Vehicle and Luggage Capacity Enough?

State the number of suitcases as well as passengers. A family of four with four large suitcases, a pushchair and a golf bag will not fit in a small saloon car.

Egem VIP Transfer's Mercedes Vito vehicles carry 9 passengers and 5 pieces of luggage. For more luggage, say so when booking; a suitable vehicle or a second vehicle is arranged.

5. Will a Child Seat Be Ready?

If you are travelling with children, state the type and number of seats in advance; infant, child and booster seats are different. At Egem VIP Transfer a baby seat is free on request; see our transfers with a baby or children guide for details.

6. What Are the Cancellation and Change Terms?

Find out in writing how the booking is updated if your flight is cancelled or the date changes, the deadline for cancelling and the refund terms. Also settle the payment method (cash, card, prepayment) at the time of booking.

7. Where and How Will You Be Met?

Find out in advance where the driver will wait. At Izmir Airport, private transfer drivers wait at the arrivals exit with a sign bearing your name. We described the steps at the airport in our Izmir Airport guide.

A correct destination address also matters: share the hotel's full name, or the location pin for a villa.

What Information Should You Give When Booking?

When filling in the booking form, include the following in full so the driver and operations team can prepare everything in advance:
- Flight number, landing date and time.
- Number of passengers, children's ages and seat needs.
- Number of suitcases and large items such as a pushchair, golf bag or surfboard.
- Destination address: the hotel's full name or the villa's location pin.
- A phone number where you can be reached, preferably one on WhatsApp.
- Any need for a wheelchair or special assistance.
